Ingredients
For Dough
- Maida (all-purpose flour) – 1.5 cups
- Salt – ¼ tsp
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Water – as needed (for kneading)
For Chees Filling
- Grated mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
- Boiled & mashed potato – 1 medium (optional for binding)
- Chilli flakes – ½ tsp
- Oregano – ½ tsp
- Black pepper – ¼ tsp
- Salt – a pinch
- Finely chopped onion – 1 small
- Chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
Instructions
Prepare Dough
- Mix maida, salt & oil.
- Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough.
- Cover and rest for 20 minutes.
Prepare Chees Filling
- In a bowl, mix cheese, onion, mashed potato (optional), coriander.
- Add chilli flakes, oregano, pepper, and salt.
- Mix everything gently. (Don’t overmix, cheese should stay fluffy.)
Shapeing Momos

Divide dough into small balls and roll into thin circles.

Place 1 tsp filling in the center.

Fold & seal in your favorite momo shape (half moon or pleated).
Frying
- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Fry the momos on medium heat till golden brown & crispy.
- Drain on paper towel.
Serve with
- Spicy momo chutney
- Schezwan sauce
- Or cheesy dip
