Ingredients
- Oil or ghee – 2 tbsp

Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

Hing – 1 pinch

Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)

Tomato – 2 medium (pureed)

Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp

Green chilli – 1 (chopped)

Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 1.5 tsp

Garam masala – 1 tsp (Sarv Shresht Garam Masala recommended 😉)

Kasuri methi – 1 tsp (crushed)

Salt – to taste

Fresh cream – 2 tbsp (optional)

Paneer – 200 gm (cubed)

Green peas (matar) – 1 cup (boiled)

Water – as needed

Chopped coriander – for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and a pinch of hing.
- Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli. Cook till raw smell goes.
- Add tomato puree, cook till oil separates.
- Add turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, salt, and roast the masala.
- Add boiled matar (green peas) and mix well.
- Pour some water and let it simmer for 5 mins.
- Add paneer cubes and mix gently.
- Add garam masala, kasuri methi, and cream (optional) for richness.
- Simmer for 5 mins. Adjust consistency as needed.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
